
Joseph Christiana, producer and founder of Christiana Productions, is a
self-taught New York-based guerrilla filmmaker. His films have been
received enthusiastically at various film festivals, on indie film websites
and on short film cable television shows. His feature film, THE DYING
LIGHT recently screened at The Teaneck International Film Festival to
overwhelming emotional response from the sold-out audience. It is now
being distributed by StraightAway Movies. His latest short film FAMOUS is
scheduled to screen at The Hoboken Int'l Film Festival in June 2008. It
premiered at the Newfilmmakers Program at Anthology in New York in
March 2008. He is currently in production on MOTEL AMERICANA, a
feature length collection of short films, due out late 2008. In addition, he
has enjoyed numerous successes with his screenplays in various
competitions. His collaborators include producer (and brother) Anthony
Christiana, cinematographer William Bourassa Jr., writer Benjamin
Valentine, writer/director Joseph Taverney, and musicians Mike Kamoo,
Laurent Rochelle, and Ron Muga.
He is currently the Creative Director for a New York Industrial Design
Fabricator and resides in North Jersey with his family.
