Episode 001 has finally arrived so sit back, listen, and enjoy
two and a half hours of pure film geek heaven. We kick things
off with a quick introduction of all three CUTTING ROOM
players before Joe Mummy begins to cut the throat of the new
DVD release TERROR TRAP starring Michael Madsen & Jeff
Fahey. An excellent review by a genuine and thoughtful
cinematic mind. The Evil Reverend Billy Grim then guts us
through his introduction of Sam Raimi’s THE EVIL DEAD as
we discuss his first film and slice and dice through all of his
interesting movies including SPIDER MAN & A SIMPLE PLAN.
The last part of our monstrous program is kicked off by
Tomahawk as he takes a stab at introducing Peter Jackson’s
initial labor of love BAD TASTE. We deliver a full review of that
film and talk everything about the New Zealander including
the LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy.

It’s the return of the mummy! And look out! I’ve brought along
some friends… I’m happy to announce that I’m rejoining
BillChete’s Horror Palace with a brand new podcast hosted
by my old friend and collaborator Thomas “TomaHawk”
Dettloff, co-hosted by yours truly along with my
cinematographer and partner in film William ‘The Evil
Reverend Billy Grim’ Bourassa. Because of our long
histories with one another (on and off the set), coupled with
our collective knowledge of all things cinema– as cinephiles
and filmmakers– the show promises to be a stand-out on the
network. In fact, we’re determined to make it one of the crown
jewels in BillChete’s Evil Empire. We’ll indulge in the
occasional verbal assault, the momentary descent into
raunch, and the random bit of broadcast hyjinx… but we’re
hell-bent on treating Horror with the reverence due any
legitimate artform. Our discussions will be amusing and
informative… but they’ll also be carefully considered,
insightful, and provocative. In addition to reviewing new
releases and thematically related classics, we’ll interview
special guests from the world of the macabre. And we also
have a few “experimental” broadcasts up our sleeves for
special episodes. We launch February 16th and release a
new episode every other Thursday thereafter. We look
forward to connecting with you all in The Cutting Room.
